Tools
The atelier's instruments.
AR-MA writes the tools it needs to carry a design into production. They are made for its own work.
-
Model platform
In development
A place for the atelier's models to live on the web. A Rhino plug-in publishes versioned, georeferenced models to it, and project pages embed them as live 3D scenes. The Rhino model stays the master; the web is a published view of it.
-
Rhino tools
In use and in development
Plug-ins written for the atelier's own work in Rhino, such as site grading, and an early prototype in which a conversation drives live edits to the model.
-
Pipelines
In use
Automated steps that turn an address in New South Wales into a working site model: georeferenced terrain, aerial imagery and trees from LiDAR, ready to design on.
-
VR review
In use
A loop from the Rhino model to a real-time scene on a headset, so a client can walk through a design at full scale before anything is made.
TODO: Confirm each tool's description and status with Robert, and add images or short films where they exist.
Collaboration: Austruss
AR-MA collaborates with Austruss on software tooling for their production. The tooling belongs to Austruss, and we do not describe it here.
TODO: Robert to approve this paragraph, and confirm how Austruss would like to be credited (name, link).
